Microsoft adds improvements to Windows 10's new taskbar experience

For those who are unaware of the "News and Interests" feature of Windows 10, it's a small flyout icon resided in the Taskbar. It provides you quick access to an integrated feed of dynamic content, which will include news and weather updates.

With the latest Windows 10 build 21292, it's also going to provide you real-time traffic conditions and alerts throughout the day. You won't need to switch to any other app or browser to see details about curated news, weather, and traffic any more.

The weather icon provides you current weather conditions directly on the taskbar. You can change the location of the weather by clicking on the three dots on the Weather card, and then clicking on the Edit location.

The weather card now redirects you to a full-page view of the weather. The details include current temperature, wind, humidity level, and hourly predictions for the day, along with a 10-days forecast.

Along with the Windows 10 Insiders Preview build 21292, Microsoft also fixed multiple issues impacting the performance and reliabilities of the new News and Interests feature.
