Microsoft is preparing to release its next version of Visual Studio, i.e. Visual Studio 2019, on 2nd April 2019 followed by an online Launch Event starting 9 AM PST. The tech giant company said that the launch will not only have focus to developers, but also to the Azure DevOps.
But, before the launch, you can now try out the preview (beta) version of the IDE side-by-side along with your previous Visual Studio installations.
Microsoft publicly announced about the development of Visual Studio 2019 on June 2018. The first public preview version of the IDE was released on 4th December 2018, second preview on 23rd January 2019 and the third preview on 14th February 2019.
The company says that the latest version of Visual Studio 2019 will include "even more productively than before". The latest IDE features a new start, improved search capabilities, AI assistance to Visual Studio Intellicode, .NET Core 3.0, integrated live sharing collaboration service and many more.
According to the official announcement, Visual Studio 2019 is going to be release on 2nd April 2019.
