• All-in-one search: This brand-new, unified search interface makes it simple to discover whatever you need in Visual Studio, including commands, files, settings, symbols, NuGet packages, and more. You can also utilize natural language inquiries to get suggestions based on your purpose relevant to your objectives.

• Improvements to debugging and diagnostics: Text visualizer now has access to additional tooling and string manipulation options, including URL and Base64 encoding and decoding, JWT decoding, etc. The text visualizer and fast watch window fully support the dark, blue, and light VS themes. Indicator icons in the parallel and call stack panes will direct attention to pressing situations like blocked or deadlocked threads. • Unreal Engine Blueprint Asset Inspector: You no longer need to exit Visual Studio to access properties from base classes edited in an Unreal Blueprint asset. To access the UE Asset Inspector in Visual Studio, double-click on a reference to a C++ class or property in a Blueprint.
• Layout configuration management: Enterprise administrators now have a new option for modifying Visual Studio's layout to fit their needs. This is called as "Layout Configuration Management". With this, it's now possible to build layout configuration files that indicate the components that should be installed or uninstalled by default, the workloads that should be shown or hidden in the installer UI, and the settings that should be used once the installation is complete.
• New Linux Features: You may now deploy your Linux projects using SSH and debug Linux core dumps straight from Visual Studio 2022 by utilizing the remote headers IntelliSense mode. This mode eliminates the need to copy header files from your remote workstation.
