If you are using Windows 10 version 2004 or newer, Microsoft released another update (KB5004237) this month to address several issues affecting Windows 10 systems. The last update (KB5004945) was released on July 6th to address a Windows Zero-day vulnerability called "PrintNightmare".

 

All users running Windows 10 version 2004 (May 2020 Update), Windows 10 version 20H2, and Windows 10 version 21H1 must update their systems with this KB5004237 update by running Windows Update from the Settings app.

As the security agencies have seen an increase in attacks against on-premise Microsoft Exchange servers, recently Microsoft released a one-click mitigation tool to help the customers of both current and out-of-support versions of on-premise Exchange Servers who are unfamiliar with the patch/update process.

 

Now the company has taken an additional step to further support the customers who are still vulnerable and have not yet implemented the complete security updates. To tackle the critical vulnerabilities in Exchange Server, Microsoft implemented an automatic mitigation tool within Defender Antivirus.

Windows 10 version 21H1 is the next feature update coming on the way and is supposed to release in the first half of 2021. The new official documentation reveals that Windows 10 version 21H1 to receive a new feature that will get support for the TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.3 protocol.

Microsoft added a new security feature to the Chromium-powered Microsoft Edge browser that will protect you from malicious websites while surfing the net. Using the Microsoft Defender SmartScreen service, Microsoft implemented this feature to Edge 87.

Mozilla launches its free Password Manager for Android, named "Firefox Lockbox". Without any extra set-up, it provides you easy access to the passwords that you have already stored in your Firefox browser.
