Microsoft recently announced that the web version of the cloud storage platform OneDrive will now support photo editing features. That means the users will now be able to edit photos directly on the web version of the OneDrive.
You can now crop photos, adjust lights and color, add creative filters, and mark up photos for editing, all in one place, before adding them to presentations, sharing them on social media, or use in meetings to enhance discussions about product development or marketing.
You can now crop a photo and trim out the parts that you don't need. It will make your image focused on a specific part of a larger image. You can also use preset aspect ratios to crop images to standard sizes for social media. This will help you share images and stories more at the moment, or enhance your landing pages with new profile images or banners.
When the perspective view of the image is incorrect, you can Flip and Rotate that image within OneDrive on the web. The rotation feature will help you in rotating an image left and right by 90 degrees. You can also rotate the image by incremental degrees to make it straighten. The image flipping feature will help you to flip an image by 180 degrees.
Adjusting the light and color can help you set the mood of your photos. With the adjustments feature, you can now calibrate the photos by adjusting the brightness, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, and color saturation.
You can now quickly apply various effects to your photos by using the preset filters. This will help you to refine the tone of your images or add special effects to transform your photos.
You can use the Markup feature tools (coming in late December 2021) to mark photos for editing. Circle images you want to enhance, strike lines through areas you want to cut or use color to show where you want to soften or enhance part of an image.
