Microsoft Edge gets a new feature on Windows 10, that will allow you to quickly switch between both apps and pinned websites. With the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build 20175, pushed to the Dev Channel, you can now access this feature on Canary or Dev versions of Microsoft Edge.
What's more? You will need to read out further to learn more about this feature currently available to insiders. Microsoft didn't share their plan by when it will reach general availability.
Microsoft released a new Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 20175 to the insiders in the Dev Channel. With this build, the company added a new feature to the Microsoft Edge browser which will let you quickly access the tabs for your pinned sites.
Earlier this month, the company announced a new ALT + TAB experience for Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, which lists all open tabs instead of the active one in each browser window.
Now, with the latest version of Windows 10 Dev Channel build 20175, if you are running Microsoft Edge Canary or Dev build (85.0.561.0 or higher), you can now click a pinned site on the Taskbar which will show you all of the open tabs for that site across any of your Microsoft Edge windows. Try it out and share your feedback with Microsoft.
A point to note that, as it is an early preview, existing sites on your Taskbar will not experience this new behavior until you remove and re-pin them.
