Microsoft announces the launch of the Microsoft Teams Public Preview program. The announcement made to align it with the Microsoft 365 deployment channels. And also to make it clearer for existing insiders to choose the right experience for them. Microsoft said that the actual availability of the new program will be later this week.

Microsoft Teams public preview channel aims to provide prior access to upcoming features to the customers and developers who want to evaluate and build features before final deployment to the stable release channel.
Microsoft in their announcement said that Microsoft Teams continues to innovate at a fast pace while delivering an enterprise-grade experience to over 115M daily active users
. Though the pre-release access was first launched for Teams over 4 years ago via the Technology Adoption Program (TAP), which was private and under the NDA, there was a need to release it to a broader audience to accumulate more feedback.
